  5. 5. J.D. Vance suggested that some January 6th rioters might have had their lives disproportionately ruined by the legal process.

  8. 8. Many January 6th defendants pled guilty after fair trials, committing crimes they often recorded themselves, with no evidence of political conspiracy.
  9. 9. Hodges has faced continuous threats since January 6th, 2021, including new ones after the lawsuit was announced.
  10. 10. Providing money to Jan. 6 rioters would empower them to commit further violence, as they lack fear of legal or ethical repercussions.
