1. 1. The YouGist extension only functions on desktop computers using Chrome or Edge browsers.
2. 2. Users must download and then unzip the `yougist-extension.zip` file first.
3. 3. To install the extension, enable Developer mode in your browser's extensions settings.
4. 4. The unzipped `yougist_extension` folder is loaded via the "Load unpacked" button.
5. 5. A unique access token is required to activate and use the extension's features.
