Seducing Ingrid Bergman — Chapter 6
- 1. Capa and Ingrid Bergman picnic in the Bois de Boulogne after news of the second atom bomb, but Capa breaks the wine bottle trying to open it without a corkscrew.
- 2. Irwin argues the atom bomb makes sense as a way to end war, but Ingrid counters that it feels wrong and would be terrifying if dropped on Paris.
- 3. On V-J Day, Ingrid impulsively kisses a GI in the crowd while riding on a jeep with Capa, then Capa retaliates by kissing a brunette.
- 4. Ingrid and Capa argue in the Ritz bar, where she accuses him of being childish and he criticizes her for making movies while others fight the war.
- 5. Ingrid and Capa spend the night together in her room at the Ritz, after she undoes her blouse and they make love.
- 6. The next morning, Ingrid and Capa bathe together, and she reflects on the experience as akin to the absolute darkness of a cave where she saw blue glints.
